Platform

Everything your commission operation actually needs

LyncCIS is built around how insurance agencies really process money: statements in, discrepancies caught, hierarchy applied, agents paid, and the whole trail defensible.

Money in, reconciled

The core loop: get the carrier statement into the system, prove it against your own records, and find the money that never arrived.

Statement import & reconciliation

Upload carrier statements as CSV or XLSX — with PDF conversion on paid plans — and LyncCIS applies the saved column template for that carrier, matches each line to a policy and a writing agent, and posts the commission. Lines it cannot match are held in a review queue instead of being silently dropped.

Commission processing

Every payment is classified as new business or renewal, chargebacks are tracked back to the original payment they reverse, and split percentages are applied to the correct producers automatically. Amounts are tracked to the cent, not rounded into a summary.

Discrepancy & reconciliation dashboard

Three patterns hide most missing money: active policies with no commission activity, orphaned commissions with no matching policy, and $0 payouts on business that should have paid. The dashboard surfaces all three the same cycle the statement lands, not at year end.

Policy registry

Policies are linked to writing agents and carriers, support bulk upload with an undo, and keep a full edit history so you can answer 'who changed this, and when' without guessing.

Hierarchy and the people you pay

Overrides are where agencies lose trust fastest. These are the pieces that make a distribution something a downline agent can check for themselves.

Agent & upline hierarchy

Model up to ten upline levels with per-carrier override rates at each level, and match agents to statement lines by writing code so distributions follow the carrier's own record of who wrote the business.

Producer portals

Every agent gets a branded portal showing their book of business, their statements and their production history — which cuts the 'where is my commission' emails and makes recruiting conversations easier.

Role-aware reporting

Owners, admins, staff and producers each see a different slice of the data. Column-level privacy is enforced inside the report engine, so an export cannot leak compensation an agent should not see.

Reports & agent statements

Five branded templates — Classic, Modern, Detailed, Summary and Corporate — exported to PDF or CSV, ready to send to a producer or an upline without reformatting anything by hand.

Growth and retention

The same system that tracks the money also tracks the relationships that produced it.

Leads & pipeline

Lead intake with Hot / Warm / Cold smart scoring, SLA preferences per source, and communication logging against every record, so a lead's history travels with it into the policy it becomes.

Calendar & appointments

Per-user appointments with tenant-defined appointment types, team versus private visibility, and links back to the related lead or policy.

AI Greetings

Physical cards written with robotic handwriting pens and mailed with a real stamp, triggered from the policy and lead data already in LyncCIS.

Quoting tool

Medicare and health quoting for most major carriers through an included third-party portal, at no extra subscription cost.

Platform and controls

What keeps the data trustworthy, connectable and defensible as the agency grows.

AI Concierge

Ask questions of your real commission data in plain language — 'which carriers underpaid last month', 'who has no renewals this quarter' — with usage capped per plan by AI credits.

API & webhooks

REST API access and outbound webhooks on Professional and Enterprise plans, so LyncCIS can act as the system of record for the rest of your stack.

Tenant isolation & audit trail

Every record is scoped to your agency at the database layer, and statement imports, hierarchy changes and record edits are all attributable to a user and a timestamp.

Carrier mapping templates

Map a carrier's statement columns once. Alias matching absorbs renamed and re-cased headers on later cycles so a cosmetic change from the carrier does not break your import.

Where to go from here

Reconciliation detail lives on the commission tracking page, and override structures are covered under agent & upline management. If your first question is whether we can read your carrier's statements, start with carrier support, and see integrations for how LyncCIS connects to the rest of your stack.

Frequently asked

Do I have to use every feature to get value from LyncCIS?

No. Most agencies start with statement import, reconciliation and hierarchy distributions, then add leads, calendar, greetings and the API later. Nothing else has to be configured for commission processing to work.

Which features are limited by plan?

Statement import, reconciliation, hierarchy, reporting and the calendar are available on every plan. PDF statement conversion is on paid plans, Twilio and API access are Professional and above, and AI Concierge usage is metered by plan-level AI credits.

How long does implementation take?

Every plan includes a complimentary expert-led setup call where a specialist configures your agency, hierarchy, carriers, users and first commission workflow with you. Most agencies process a real statement inside their trial week.

Can LyncCIS replace our spreadsheets entirely?

That is the intent. Statements, policies, agents, overrides, chargebacks and producer statements all live in one place, so the spreadsheet stops being the source of truth for who was paid what.
